MINI-MED SCHOOL
Mondays, January 27-April 27 (no class Feb 17 or Apr 6; 12 weeks)

Students learn about the tools doctors use, study how our bodies work, use microscopes to see what difference cells look like, and investigate real hearts, kidneys and brains. Music is a complex form of art integrated with science. Students study the physics and physiology of sound and how it is interpreted, and create sound and music with their own instruments and composition skills. Students dive in to investigate the ocean and its inhabitants. We study ocean habitats, classification of marine organisms and their anatomical adaptations, and how we can protect the oceans of the world. Each lab includes hands-on science and experimentation.
