During this introductory coding course, students explore the basics of computational thinking, learn basic and complex coding commands (modified Javascript), and understand the importance of syntax as they design and code a variety of programs and digital games they can share with friends. Each week will focus on a different programming function or game design challenge. This course is designed for students 8+ years old with little to no line-by-line programming experience - they will be typing in all of the code. Use of a computer or table is needed for this course, and a physical keyboard is easier than a digital keyboard.
