A video link available for 90 days after registration, supply kit, associated badge/patch, and sales tax are included in the cost of each registration. WORKSHOP LOGISTICS
Fall crafting time! Girl Scouts (and parents can join in if they wish) learn the step-by-step method to create and decorate two Chunky Wrap Pumpkins. Registration includes a Chunky Pumpkin Kit and a Pumpkin Patch Fun Patch.
Girl Scouts become geologists as they investigate rocks and minerals and how they are formed, and crack open their own geode to discover the crystals inside. Parent assistance may be needed for this activity. You may choose to do part of this activity outside. Registration includes our Geodes Lab Kit and a Rocks and Minerals Fun Patch.
Girl Scouts learn about the science of slime, make color-changing potions and conduct a spooky electricity experiment. Registration includes a Halloween Science Kit and a Halloween Fun Patch.
Girls explore the biology and anatomy of sharks as they investigate shark tooth shapes, learn about dermal denticles that cover their skin, and watch as we teach the anatomy of a real, preserved spiny dogfish shark. Registration includes a Shark Science Kit and a Marine Biology Fun Patch.
Daisies learn about energy and motion to design, construct and test a roller coaster, and see which "roller coaster car" works best. Girls complete requirements for their Mechanical Engineering: Roller Coaster Badge. Parent assistance may be needed for younger Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts explore, design and build a working paddle boat from rubber bands and materials around the house to see what engineering principles result in the most effective paddle boat design. Juniors complete requirements for their Mechanical Engineering: Paddle Boat Badge. Registration includes our Paddle Boat Kit and a Mechanical Engineering: Paddle Boat Badge.
In this workshop, Girl Scouts experiment with chemistry to design, create, and test a new bath product. Juniors complete requirements toward their Product Designer Badge. Registration includes our Product Designer Kit and Junior Product Designer Badge.
