We are here to help as we get through these crazy times, and as we try to keep our Educators employed and our business from closing permanently. So, we are converting some of our Girl Scout workshops to an online format for as long as is necessary to keep your Girl Scouts moving forward along their path, and our Educators working.
Our Girl Scout Workshops are designed to complete as many requirements as possible with this format, but there may be some things they will have to do on their own. Unlike our in-person workshops, badges are NOT included in the registration fee, and must be purchased on your own. If you are already scheduled for an in-person workshop and would like to change to the online format, just let us know, we can easily do that for you.
Although we are designing these workshops for Girl Scouts, anyone is able to participate. Registration closes at 5pm the day before each workshop. BOARD GAME DESIGN – ONLINE WORKSHOP (Daisy Badge)

PADDLE BOAT DESIGN - ONLINE GIRL SCOUT WORKSHOP (Junior Badge)

Girl Scouts explore, design and build a working paddle boat from rubber bands and materials around the house to see what engineering principles result in the most effective paddle boat design. Juniors complete requirements for their Mechanical Engineering: Paddle Boat Badge (badge not included in registration fee).

COMPUTER EXPERT - ONLINE GIRL SCOUT WORKSHOP (Brownie Badge)

Girl Scouts learn about internet safety and computer basics, create art online, and research interesting facts. Brownies complete requirements for their Computer Expert Badge (badge not included in registration fee).

BIOLOGICAL DRAWINGS – ONLINE GIRL SCOUT WORKSHOP (Junior Badge)

Scientists are often required to sketch their observations of organisms or cells. Girl Scouts learn how to create accurate biological drawings of living organisms, as well as specimens in a microscope, with emphasis on relative size and scale. Juniors complete requirements for their Drawing Badge (badge not included in registration fee).

FLOWER SCIENCE – ONLINE WORKSHOP (Junior Badge)

Girls investigate the science of flowers by dissecting a flower, looking at plants under a microscope, and conducting a plant experiment. Juniors complete requirements for their Flower Badge (badge not included in registration fee).

BIRDHOUSE BUILD – ONLINE WORKSHOP (Juniors and Cadettes)

Girl Scouts learn about birds and avian behavior, as well as practice their woodworking skills as they build their own bluebird house. Parent participation with tools may be required. Workshop completes several requirements for Junior Animal Habitats Badge and Cadette Woodworking Badge.
Roswell-area participants only as supplies pick up is required (shipping is NOT available for this workshop). Pick up begins on Tuesday, May 26th from 10am-4pm at 2500 Old Alabama Rd, suite 5, Roswell. Space is very limited for this workshop (only 11 birdhouse kits are available).

Brownies and Juniors learn how to prevent and treat minor injuries, understand in the importance of hand washing, learn the first steps in helping someone in need, and talk about the parts of a first aid kit and how they work so they can make their own at home to complete requirements for their First Aid Badge. We provide the supplies for the first aid kits!
